Summarization Solutions
What we do
Pluribo uses patent-pending NLP technology to analyze and summarize user reviews on the internet. We are essentially an automated Consumer Reports; we analyze millions of online user reviews in order to figure out in real-time what people think about various products and services. Our summaries consist of several parts:
- A textual summary. A short paragraph that explains both whether people liked the product and why they felt that way.
- A numerical summary. Statistical data that reflects how much people liked or disliked attributes of the product.
- Review excerpts. For each product attribute of the product, we return dozen of brief review exerpts that pertain to that attribute.
Here is an example of a summary (both textual and numerical) that our system recently computed to show how hundreds of users felt about the Apple iPod Touch:
Our system generates rich data feeds like this in XML format, based on your choice of user review data. You can publish the data to your site or use it to drive your own applications.
Solutions
For Marketers >
Get quick insight into what customers are saying Online reviews provide a wealth of data on consumer attitudes. Pluribo marketing intelligence products use NLP technology to scan reviews, and mine them for deep insight.
For Publishers >
User reviews drive traffic, but they can also be confusing. Online shoppers often delay their purchase decisions as they browse the endless reviews and try to make sense of all the different viewpoints. Adding Pluribo summaries to your site can help them make faster decisions, and that can mean higher conversion for your site.
For Mobile Apps >
Mobile users want quick, actionable information to help them make decisions. Ratings or stars have too little information on their own. Full-length reviews have too much information, and are too long for mobile displays. Pluribo summaries are just right. They are perfect for getting the quick lowdown on a local restaurant, bar, hotel, or other product.
